Types of thermal insulation materials
There are three types of isolates – organic, inorganic, and mixed. The 1st category includes materials based on organic matter. These are various foams, expanded polystyrene, recycled wood waste. 2nd – inorganic – they are made of specially treated rocks or glass. These are mineral wool, foam glass, and glass wool. 3rd – mixed – made of asbestos.

What can be insulated
Currently, it is easy to protect your built or under construction housing from adverse weather conditions. It is only necessary to take into account some features:
- walls – internal or external (facade) thermal insulation is possible;
- ceilings – will provide sound insulation;
- floors – sound insulation and heat preservation;
- the roof, properly insulated, turns the attic into a living room.;
- The basement can be used as a workshop with proper thermal insulation.
